Estepona

Estepona is located between Malaga and Gibraltar on the Costa del Sol. The Estepona area has its own micro-climate, as the mountains protect from cold air from the north. In fact, it was originally planned that Eurodisney would lie here because of the weather - but it ended up being known to Paris. Estepona Town has over 60,000 permanent residents, making it one of the major cities along the Costa del Sol.

Benahavis

Benahavis is a beautiful inland, whitewashed town in one of the most mountainous areas in the western Costa del Sol; as such it offers some of the most remarkable and picturesque views to be had.
The town is typical of these Moorish routes, narrow and winding back streets ending in town squares. It has its origins in Al Andalus, the Moorish kingdom, which at its height covered almost the entire of the Iberian Peninsula.
The area around Benahavis is prestigious, largely due to its proximity to the coastal resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Marbella

Marbella is, without a doubt, one of the Costa del Sol's major tourist centres, thanks to the high quality of the facilities and services it provides.

Costa de la Luz

Mijas Pueblo

One of the jewels of the Costa del Sol is the beautiful little village of Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 400 meters above sea level about 10km from the coast. Of the ten thousand population, there are so many foreign and English speaking residents in and around the village that the Town Hall has a very helpful Foreigner's Department, which caters for the needs of those residents who do not speak Spanish
