Estepona Beach

This 2km beach is bounded at the west by the Torre de la Sal headland and runs to the next headland at Bahia Dorada; it is about 40m wide. Not overly busy, this is mainly used by the residents of the urbanizations that straddle of the coast road.

Estepona is located between Malaga and Gibraltar on the Costa del Sol. The Estepona area has its own micro-climate, as the mountains protect from cold air from the north. In fact, it was originally planned that Eurodisney would lie here because of the weather - but it ended up being known to Paris. Estepona Town has over 60,000 permanent residents, making it one of the major cities along the Costa del Sol.

Benahavis is a beautiful inland, whitewashed town in one of the most mountainous areas in the western Costa del Sol; as such it offers some of the most remarkable and picturesque views to be had.
The town is typical of these Moorish routes, narrow and winding back streets ending in town squares. It has its origins in Al Andalus, the Moorish kingdom, which at its height covered almost the entire of the Iberian Peninsula.
The area around Benahavis is prestigious, largely due to its proximity to the coastal resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Marbella is, without a doubt, one of the Costa del Sol's major tourist centres, thanks to the high quality of the facilities and services it provides.
Puerto Banús, one of the main focal points for tourists in the town, houses an exclusive leisure area inside the excellent facilities of its marina.
The historic part of town, sitting on a beautiful bay, shelters lovely corners of a typically Andalusian flavour, with whitewashed houses and orange trees adorning the streets and squares.

Costa de la Luz

Its wide variety of beaches include everything from practically unspoilt paradises frequented by windsurfers around the areas of Conil, Barbate and Tarifa, to family beaches and beaches near the city in places like Cadiz, Vejer de la Frontera and Chiclana. The beach of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, opposite the Doñana National Park, is the venue in August for the traditional horse races along the beach, declared a festivity of international tourist interest.

Sotogrande Puerto

This port is located at the eastern entrance to the Straits of Gibraltar, in the exclusive and wellknown residential complex of Sotogrande, within the Cádiz municipality of San Roque.
This tourist destination boasts attractions all year round, from its legendary golf courses to kitesurfing on the beach or hiking in autumn. Sotogrande is a place where your days can be designed to suit your tastes.

Mijas Pueblo

One of the jewels of the Costa del Sol is the beautiful little village of Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 400 meters above sea level about 10km from the coast. Of the ten thousand population, there are so many foreign and English speaking residents in and around the village that the Town Hall has a very helpful Foreigner's Department, which caters for the needs of those residents who do not speak Spanish
